The peony has been called the flower of wealth and honour — huāwáng, the king of flowers — for over a thousand years. Painted beside it here is the crab apple, whose name, hǎitáng, sounds like the word for a family’s great hall.
Together they make a blessing: mǎntáng fùguì — may wealth and honour fill the whole house. Not one person’s fortune, but a room’s worth of it.
A mahjong table is exactly that kind of room. Four chairs, one pot, and the good luck meant to land on everyone who sits down.
The details
- Size
- 31.5″ × 31.5″ (80 cm square) — fits standard card tables and mahjong tables.
- Material
- Dense polyester face, printed by dye-sublimation so the design is in the fibre, not on it. Non-slip rubber backing keeps the mat planted while tiles are shuffled.
- Thickness
- 2mm folds smaller and lighter for travel; 3mm quiets the tiles further and feels more cushioned under the wrists.
- Care
- Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; air dry flat. Fold along the shipped creases to repack.
- In the box
- One printed mat, folded, in a drawstring carrying bag in your chosen colour.
Standard shipping is included in the price.
Printed for you in about 4 days — ships by September 8 — and most orders
arrive 12 to 20 days after you order, so plan on September 23. US customs
can add time, and a personalized mat can take up to four weeks; for a gift with a
date, order well ahead.
Mat total: $88.00
— shipping is shown before payment, never after.
The 30-day make-it-right guarantee
If your mat arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective — or it’s the wrong design, the wrong size, or the personalization doesn’t match what you entered — email us photos within 30 days of delivery and we remake it or refund it. Replacements go into production within 1 business day; refunds issue within 3. You never ship anything back. Because each mat is printed to order, we can’t take change-of-mind returns on personalized mats, and slight colour variation from your screen is part of the printing process — the full policy, plainly worded.
